Lindsay Mason started French Knot after working in the fashion industry for seven years. She was laid off from her job as a Knitwear Designer and moved back home with the goal of starting her own business. With little money to start and support from family and friends, Lindsay established French Knot in 2012 out of a small office in her dad’s barn.
While working in the fashion industry, Lindsay had the opportunity to work with many different countries, but her heart always returned to the women of Nepal. The quality and workmanship of the women artisans were unlike anything she had encountered, and she knew that working with them would be essential to the quality and beauty of French Knot’s winter accessories.
