ABOUT NIGHT SPACE

An upstate New York native, Kat Hammill is a creative entrepreneur, designer and mother whose personal and professional endeavors have informed her aesthetic point of view. Warm, inviting, minimalism that's translated from her work to her home.

For over two decades, Kat has brought her multi-disciplinary design approach to launch numerous products, brands and lifestyles in the art, home and fashion industries. She worked as Design Director of Decorative Accessories at West Elm, and she co-founded Atlanta based brick & mortar and online retailer River Mint Finery focusing on apparel, jewelry, and accessories.

Kat left the city thirsty for nature and settled roots in the Hudson Valley where Night Space was conceptualized and created with life-long friend and co-founder, Danielle Armstrong.

Danielle, a fellow New Yorker and mother of 3, brings extensive experience in business communications having managed a computer consulting firm for over 10 years. Always inspired by creativity of the home design world, she shifted gears into sales and marketing for Aesthetic Movement, a New York based design consultancy and representation company. Danielle established strong partnerships with many high-end furnishings and accessories brands as well as independent shops, luxury boutiques, and national retailers.

Night Space honors a day's smallest gestures and life’s biggest events, and is truly a manifestation of the duo’s shared experiences and memories. Together they create scents that make you feel good about your space, and make guests curious to ask questions as soon as they walk in.
