SUSAN (Weimaraner)

RIDGELAND, SC......Beautiful Susan is a six-year-old Weimaraner that was picked up by a Good Samaritan after being found abandoned in Ridgeland, SC.  As you can see from the pictures, she has a large mass on her mammary chain and several smaller ones on her body.

Sweet Susan was taken to Jasper Animal Rescue Mission in Jasper County.  JARM contacted Maranatha Farm which helps so many animals in our area.  Karen Wilkins reached out to us, and we were glad to help with this beautiful pup.   Since no one came forward looking for Susan, we believe someone drove to the area where she was abandoned and discarded her.

This beautiful dog appears to be in good shape other than the massive growth.  How someone could abandon their Family Pet is beyond me.  What kind of person does this because I would like to know?   Susan is a pure breed Weimaraner that could not be any sweeter.   If she was your family pet, would you not just reach out and ask for help?

We don't know what Susan has if it is cancer or benign growth.   All we know is she needs medical care.   Whatever we find, we will do whatever it takes to give her a great Life.  Dr. Jennifer Au at CVRC in Charleston, SC. will be doing surgery on her today.  We will first do a Cat Scan to determine how invasive the growth is before Surgery.

We will post an update as soon as we know more.  In the meantime, we need to pay for her Surgery, Cat Scan, and aftercare.   We will also be looking for a home for this Special Girl or a Foster Home until a permanent home has been found.

Please, Donate whatever you can so we can help Susan with her Medical Care and give her the Gift of Life.    Thanks for caring.
