Design Ideas - MoMA Ito Puzzle

The Ito 5-Piece Interlocking Puzzle is made of beech wood and is inspired by the Japanese furniture-making tradition of joinery, where all components interlock without nails, screws or adhesive. Simple-looking at first glance, this colorful, brain-teasing puzzle is deceptively challenging. The puzzle is designed by Yoshiaki Ito, an award-winning Brooklyn-based designer and craftsman who has created toys, furniture and other objects. His sensibility combines a Brooklyn vibe with Japanese aesthetic traditions in unexpected ways. Ages 8+. The Ito 5-Piece Interlocking Puzzle measures 2.5h x 4.5w x 2.5"d.
