Imagine the early import ships from the Orient making their way to the Port of Savannah bringing the exotic miso. Savannahians would have embraced it. They have always had great culinary talents in combining unique flavors. The readily available sesame seeds and green onions gave birth to this wonderful Vinaigrette.
Not just for salads. Be creative in its use. Try mixing it with pasta and tri-color peppers for a cold dish when the temperatures reach the thermometer’s red zone. “Meshiagare, y’all!”
