Kankitsu Labo - Dry Candied Japanese Citrus Peels


Produced by Kankitsu Labo, which has been specializing in candied fruit products using fruit from local citrus farmers in Ehime prefecture, is a real treat. 

Yuzu has a soothing aroma and a pleasant bitterness while Amanatsu highlights a sweetness with a gentle sourness. Iyokan exhibits a rich citrus flavor reminiscent of freshly squeezed juice. Kawachi Bankan has a grapefruit-like refreshing flavor while  while Setouchi Lemon highlights the refreshing and elegant flavor of the remarkable lemon. These citruses go through a traditional, time-consuming process to retain the natural flavor and aroma of each citrus. Also, the peels are well-coated with sugar and dried completely—the candied peels are not sticky. They are truly decadent treats. You can not only enjoy them as a snack, but also add them to your cooking or drink-making. No food colorings, flavorings, or preservatives are used.
