JUNO (Husky)

JUNO (Husky)

LEXINGTON, NC......Beautiful Juno is a 4-year-old Husky that was picked up as a stray and brought to Davidson County Animal Shelter.    Juno should have weighed close to fifty pounds but weighed only 28 pounds when she arrived.  She was emaciated but still had a spring in her step and hope in her beautiful eyes.   Davidson County reached out to see if we could help Juno and I could not refuse to support this sweet pup.

ELLA (GSD)

ELLA (GSD)

I have wonderful news.   Adorable Ella has been free of seizures since the first day we rescued her.  She is growing like a weed and is not showing any signs of Neurologic deficit from her excessive seizure activity before us rescuing her.    When Ella first arrived she would do a little spinning action and then would act like she had been shocked and take off like a bullet.  She has not done that in a about thre weeks which is incredible.

BeBe (Pocket Pitty)

BeBe (Pocket Pitty)

GREENVILLE, SC.......Two-year-old BeBe has got to be one of the sweetest dogs that was terrified of everyone when we first got her.   She was picked up as a stray that appeared to have been hit by a car and was brought to Greenville County Animal Care.  When the initial post went around, it stated she had been laying in her urine and feces.  The staff could not keep her there in that condition so we stepped up knowing she would be put down.

OREO (Am. Bulldog)

OREO (Am. Bulldog)

FAYETTEVILLE, NC.....Every applicant that comes to us to adopt is checked out as if they were adopting an infant.  People get upset, but in the end, they realize we do this to protect our dogs from neglect or abuse.  We know and love pups and only want the best home for them given their medical condition.

Tabi (Jack / Chihuahua Mix)

Tabi (Jack / Chihuahua Mix)

Okatie, SC.......Adorable Tabi is a one-year-old Jack Russel / Chihuahua Mix that was purchased off Craig's List.  The new Owner thought she was not right the minute she had gotten her home.   She appeared to be very rigid at times and was not sure if she was having a seizure or what was wrong.  Another Rescue stepped up to help dear Tabi, but she proved to be too much for them also.

ELLA (GSD)

ELLA (GSD)

CHARLESTON, SC......Adorable Ella is a 4-month-old pure breed German Shepherd that started having seizures about a month ago.  We were contacted when she had been given away to someone that was willing to help her if she only had a couple of seizures a day.  She was picked up by the new Family on Friday and by Sunday had over 200 seizures.  We were contacted and sent a video. I immediately had her taken to CVRC (Charleston Veterinary Referral Center) in Charleston, SC.

Rhythm & Blues

Rhythm & Blues

These two amazing tiny Pitties are the pups of Skittles.  You can read more about their Mom and how they came into being with us on her page.  They were born at Noah's Arks Rescue.   Their Mother died a couple of months ago from Cancer.  We did not adopt them out because Skittles did so much better while they were with her.  Sadly, she lost her battle, and we think it is time to allow them to be adopted.  We would love for them to be adopted together since they are the perfect ready-made Family.

PIPPA (Mini-Schnauzer)

PIPPA (Mini-Schnauzer)

YORK COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA.....Adorable Pippa is a 12-week old pure breed Mini Schnauzer.     She was brought to York County Animal Control after Pippa had become very sick.  The Owner had taken her to the Vet when she became Lethargic and developed a Cough.  She was first diagnosed with Kennel Cough with possible Pneumonia.  It was then determined she had either Hepatic Encelapothy or a Liver Shunt.  Both were bad for this adorable puppy.  She needed to be seen by Specialists or Euthanized.   The Owner opted to take her to Animal Control.

MADGE (Poodle)

Madge has got to be one of the sweetest, most delightful poodles around.  She breezed through her hernia surgery like it was nothing.  We were so worried about her making it through her procedure that we had everyone ready to jump in if her vitals started to drop.  None of that happened.  She went to sleep and woke up without a care in the World.    I am sure not carrying around a bowling ball size hernia has made her feel a thousand percent better.
