ELLA (GSD)
CHARLESTON, SC......Adorable Ella is a 4-month-old pure breed German Shepherd that started having seizures about a month ago. We were contacted when she had been given away to someone that was willing to help her if she only had a couple of seizures a day. She was picked up by the new Family on Friday and by Sunday had over 200 seizures. We were contacted and sent a video. I immediately had her taken to CVRC (Charleston Veterinary Referral Center) in Charleston, SC.
Rhythm & Blues
These two amazing tiny Pitties are the pups of Skittles. You can read more about their Mom and how they came into being with us on her page. They were born at Noah's Arks Rescue. Their Mother died a couple of months ago from Cancer. We did not adopt them out because Skittles did so much better while they were with her. Sadly, she lost her battle, and we think it is time to allow them to be adopted. We would love for them to be adopted together since they are the perfect ready-made Family.
PIPPA (Mini-Schnauzer)
YORK COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA.....Adorable Pippa is a 12-week old pure breed Mini Schnauzer. She was brought to York County Animal Control after Pippa had become very sick. The Owner had taken her to the Vet when she became Lethargic and developed a Cough. She was first diagnosed with Kennel Cough with possible Pneumonia. It was then determined she had either Hepatic Encelapothy or a Liver Shunt. Both were bad for this adorable puppy. She needed to be seen by Specialists or Euthanized. The Owner opted to take her to Animal Control.
MADGE (Poodle)
Madge has got to be one of the sweetest, most delightful poodles around. She breezed through her hernia surgery like it was nothing. We were so worried about her making it through her procedure that we had everyone ready to jump in if her vitals started to drop. None of that happened. She went to sleep and woke up without a care in the World. I am sure not carrying around a bowling ball size hernia has made her feel a thousand percent better.
SUSAN (Weimaraner)
RIDGELAND, SC......Beautiful Susan is a six-year-old Weimaraner that was picked up by a Good Samaritan after being found abandoned in Ridgeland, SC. As you can see from the pictures, she has a large mass on her mammary chain and several smaller ones on her body.
MADGE (Poodle)
LAWRENCEVILLE, GA......How could an innocent, lovable poodle end up in the most horrific unimaginable condition, abandoned and discarded? Only God knows because I have racked my brain to see how anyone could have allowed this innocent pup to get in the medical condition Madge was found in.
LUKE (Great Dane)
GREENWOOD, SC.....I hope everyone had a very special Thanksgiving surrounded by Friends and Family. Thanksgiving through New Years is a terrible time for our four-legged Family Members. Please, remember to check on your neighbors and friends to make they have food, clothing and a warm home during this time of year. Pride keeps people from reaching out for help. Be the best Friend possible by being there for others.
FRITZ (Dachshund)
CEDARTOWN, GA.......We love working with Rescues whose ultimate goal is saving the life of an innocent Soul. It isn't about money or fame, all we care about is what we can do to give this abused pup the necessary medical care they need to have good Quality of Life. Such is the case with dear FRITZ.
ABBI (Yellow Lab)
LEXINGTON, NC....Beautiful 7-year-old Yellow Lab was brought to the Davidson County Animal Shelter to be EUTHANIZED. The Owner said she had never received any medical care and had an enormous mass on her chest. Beautiful, Sweet and Loving and has spent her Life with this Family only to be Abandoned and Discarded. What the Hell is wrong with this World that someone could drop this amazing dog off without one bit of remorse?
CHESSIE (Shih Tzu)
CHAMBLEE, GA......There is nothing sadder to me than seeing an older dog that has been so mistreated and neglected that they are terrified of you and what you might do to them. Chessie is a 10+-year-old Shih Tzu that was picked up as a stray and brought to Dekalb County Animal Services. She was matted all over her body and was covered with feces. We immediately said we would take Chessie when we were contacted.
