DOBSON, NC........Adorable Stitch is a one-year-old Bulldog / Bully Mix that was picked up as a stray and brought to the Surry County Animal Control in Dobson, NC.    We were contacted because he needed extensive surgery for his rear legs that were bowed out.

ANDERSON, SC.....It appears kicking puppies has become commonplace with tiny pups.  Adorable Olli is a three-month-old Chihuahua that was picked up as a stray with a massive inguinal hernia and fractured rear leg.    A hernia was half the size of this adorable puppy.   When we got the call for help and saw the pictures, I was not sure if this was a tumor or a hernia.   Olli was too young to have a tumor this large, so my hope was this was a hernia.

MONCKS CORNER, SC......Do you ever have days that you sit back and think what is going on all around you is too bizarre for even a Fiction Novel?  That is how I feel lately.  Every Tale or Story I hear from Owners or Shelters are too sad and heart-breaking to be true.

COLUMBIA, SC......We may have lost Lily Beth, but we are not going to lose PHINEAS who is in the same horrible shape as she was.  These poor desperate Souls have lived their entire Life being tortured.   Puppies are not born with these horrific skin conditions.  It comes from a Lifetime of living in horrible conditions and being malnourished.   Why does this keep happening?  Does no one open up their eyes to see what is right in front of them?   Families that live next to where this is going on have to know this is happening.  Courage comes in many forms, and it starts when we stand up for these innocent Creatures that did not ask to be born. 

HAW RIVER, NC......Poor REECE was getting the short end of a stick.  Volunteers and his Rescue Coordinator were begging for me to take this beautiful one-year-old Hound.  I said NO for weeks because this is surgery someone else could do, and he was a sweet Hound that should go to a Hound Rescue.  I said No, No, No over and over again.   On week three, I got a final plea for this sweet pup before he was put to sleep.  He needed help.  If he didn't get the surgery, he needed there was no point in keeping him alive since he was suffering.

STANFIELD, NC......I am so beyond Backyard Breeders and Puppy Mills that I feel confident there is going to be Prison Time in my future if this does not stop. The abuse, stench, and neglect these innocent puppies endure at the hands of inhumane people have gotten out of control.   Every week is another horror story of innocent Souls begging to be saved.   The saddest fact of all is these pups will wag their tail even in the midst of this horror.

GREENVILLE, SC....There are no words to describe the pain and suffering this five-month-old puppy has endured.    Puppies get Demodex all the time, and they get over it with proper care.  The problem comes when they are severely neglected, and the puppies DO NOT get any medical care.  Their skin becomes infected, and eventually, the animal becomes septic.

ANDERSON, SC.....We get lots of requests to help abused neglected dogs.   The ones we take on are usually never going to live unless we step up. The Rescue Coordinator at Anderson County PAWS reached out to us in the early morning hours with a desperate plea for help or a definite NO, and they would not allow this puppy to suffer any longer.

BENNETTSVILLE, SC......Adorable Daisy Mae is an eight-month-old Boston Terrier Mix that was hit by a car and Abandoned.   She was picked up as a Stray and brought to Marlboro County Animal Shelter.   This poor pup was hit hard, and her pelvis was shattered on one side along with a broken front leg.   She was in terrible pain when we were contacted and could not say no.

MANNING, SC.....The last time we took on Parvo Pups, it almost broke us.  Well, here we are again on a Holiday, and we are contacted to help more pups that are already dying.  I was sick when I saw the pictures and heard the tears and anguish come through the phone of the person begging for help.
